So this project started off as a simple little space for rendering out a few arcade cabinets I previously made and.....well it kinda morphed into a much bigger endeavor. I've been working on this for practice in between projects at work to experiment and refine a few techniques. I also recently purchased a license for Substance Painter and have been busy overhauling the entire build and assets - UV Mapping + high poly - low poly baking in Blender and then PBR texturing in Substance Painter. I have also been bumping the geometry targets up for the cabinet models to incorporate a few additional modelled on details as well as to better round out a few other details (while still keeping the models very well optimized for VR use).
More updates will eventually come as I complete more of the overhaul and plan to return to expanding the number of arcade cabinets in the space to reach my target of approximately 72 cabinets.
